Meeting held at the post Office Sports and Social Club on December 09 2007


The meeting was opened by the President of the AEBBA Mr Eric Hill at 10.40 am.

Mr Hill announced that the forthcoming International Match against Jersey is to be held over the week-end of 9th / 10th February 2008 at the Gatwick Skylane Hotel, Bonehurst Road, Hawley Surrey RH6 8QG.

It was decided to select the Ladies team first, and the Ladies Captain Pauline Withey start the selection process. After input from the delegates present, the team was settled upon as follows.

Jean Brackenridge, Sue Atkins, Bella Stoner, Sue Mariner

Reserves Denise Wills, Jane Wood.

The Mens team was then discussed, with captain Kevin Tunstall leading the debate as to who should represent the country ay the Sky Lane Hotel against Jersey.
A few of those present on the Selection Committee felt that the Team from last year was pretty much the line up for this year, although players such as Gary Powell, Geoff Jukes and Steve Mariner were discussed, the selection committee settled on the following team for 2008.

There being no other business for the Selection Committee to discus, the President Mr Eric Hill declared the meeting closed at 11.50am.
